The vehicle must be returned back in the same condition it was rented. The vehicle must have the same amount of gas and cleanliness as when the vehicle was picked up, failure to do so will result in a gas or cleaning claim.


You, the named driver, are the only one allowed to drive our vehicle during the rental period. If suspected otherwise the renter will be charged.


Please follow the following rules for the best renting experience:


  • No smoking of any kind inside the vehicle, if smoking is suspected upon drop-off the renter will be charged with a smoking claim.

  • Contact us for any emergency of any kind, we will work with you on getting the vehicle returned. Call us at: (512) 351-7677

  • Do not take our vehicles outside the city of Austin or surrounding cities within a 30 mile radius. If the vehicle is taken beyond the limits, the renter may be asked to return the vehicle. If anything happens to the vehicle outside of the limits, the renter is responsible for getting it towed back to the pick-up/drop-off location.

  • Late Payments - If the renter is late on payments, you may be asked to return the vehicle. Failure to return the vehicle may result in a stolen vehicle report. In the event we have to tow the vehicle, the renter will be charged with a towing fee.

  • Tire care is your responsibility. If you happen to get a flat tire, you are responsible for getting it fixed. Anything outside of a tread issue is the renter's responsibility.


EMERGENCIES

  • STOLEN VEHICLE - please notify XE AUTOS LLC and file a police report.

  • DEAD BATTERY- If a dead battery is to occur, we ask that the renter tries to get the vehicle jumped. If the renter cannot get that done or the battery keeps dying, please text message (512) 351-7677 or call (512) 837-1417.

  • CAR ACCIDENT - Take the following steps:
    1. Call the police, take pictures of the other party's license plate, their driver's license, and insurance policy.
    2. Report accident to HyreCar (888) 688-6769
    3. Request HyreCar roadside service and tow the vehicle to Luu Auto Repair Shop (8225 N Lamar Blvd. Austin, TX 78753.)
    4. Notify us through messaging as soon as possible at (512) 351-7677.

  • MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN - Please park the vehicle in the nearest parking lot and notify us through messaging to (512) 351-7677, call the mechanic shop listed below for further instructions. (Please put the keys below the driver side floor mat and leave the vehicle UNLOCKED.)

  • TOWING SERVICES - For vehicle breakdowns, please call: (512) 698-7102 / (512) 836-0368 / (512) 450-2414 ; be sure to tow the car to the company and listed below.

END OF RENTAL - When you are ready to end your rental, please return the vehicle to the same pick-up location and notify us so we can close the rental through HyreCar for you. Please return the vehicle in the same condition as you received it. When dropping off the vehicle at the end of the rental period, please leave the key below the driver side floor mat and lock the vehicle.
